The warmer weather is a critical time to flush out your grinder because bacteria is more prevalent when the ambient temperature is higher. You certainly don’t want your workers to be exposed to this toxic material as inhaling it can be detrimental to their health. That’s not in their best interests, nor that of your business.
- All machines that require fluids to operate should be drained and/or flushed before any prolonged periods of no operation.
- Accurate Grinder Cleaner can be added to the grinder on the last day of operation (i.e. Friday) so that it doesn’t affect your production at all. Then simply drain and flush.
- Now it’s time to add Accurate Grinding Coolant which helps ensure your knife steel doesn’t overheat. We recommend that you change your coolant regularly (depending on workload).
